In the name of Allah the most Merciful and the Most Kind Islam is a religion that has been practiced for over 1,400 years and is based on Quran the revelation of Allah and the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. The very first revelation of Allah towards Muhammad peace be upon him was.... 96:1 ٱقْرَأْ بِٱسْمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ١ Read, ˹O Prophet,˺ in the Name of your Lord Who created— 96:2 خَلَقَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ مِنْ عَلَقٍ ٢ created humans from a clinging clot. 96:3 ٱقْرَأْ وَرَبُّكَ ٱلْأَكْرَمُ ٣ Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous, 96:4 ٱلَّذِى عَلَّمَ بِٱلْقَلَمِ ٤ Who taught by the pen— 96:5 عَلَّمَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ مَا لَمْ يَعْلَمْ ٥ taught humanity what they knew not. Islamic knowledge also plays a vital role in shaping the social and political landscape of Muslim societies.
